Just finished my coffee. It made it to room temperature today. It wasn't so bad. Still no sugar though.
Ugh, work...

No Sugar!?!?
11:21 Just chugged my room temperature coffee. It was only ok because I ran out of sugar/splenda/sweet 'n low. I still drank it anyways because I am a little tired. Not as tired as I thought I would be after rocking to Metallica until late last night with Cory. Metallica Rulz!!
Cory mentioned something last night when describing Metallica that has got the mouse in my brain running. He said Metallica is now, to him (and myself as well), a band that we know as being awesome-kickass-greatness but wouldn't listen to if we could listen to whatever we want. He also used Incubus as an example. We both used to listen to both of these bands quite a bit and still recognize their talents; but now, eh. I'll listen to some Silversun Pickups, Bayside, Matt Pryor, Steel Panthers, Guster, or any other band I'm currently listening to in lieu of Metallica. All those bands may technically not be nearly as talented or kick ass as Metallica but they've had their time in my ears and brain. Even Death Magnetic in all it's greatness is only worth listening to when we are out wakeboarding on the boat. Maybe I'm getting old...
So, I was thinking, What other bands are like this?
So far I have Operation Ivy, Reel Big Fish, Goldfinger, and that's all I can think of at this moment...
